Discovery of Rajasthan 

Day 01 | Arrival Delhi

Arrive at New Delhi airport. Meet Flashpacking India representative and transfer to hotel.  Later go for a half-day sightseeing tour of Delhi; pass by India Gate, the Rashtrapati Bhavan (formerly the viceroy's residence), and the Parliament House. Visit the 12th century Qutab Minar and Chandni Chowk. Overnight at Delhi.

Day 02 | Delhi – Agra [By road in 3 hours]

After breakfast transfer to Agra by car. On arrival check in to the hotel.  Late afternoon go for Mughal Heritage Kachhpura Village walk with high tea. The walking tour of Kachhpura starts with explaining the paintings (Sanji art) on the walls done by community girls under the youth program.

Humayun’s Mosque is another monument that is situated inside the village. The walk ends in Mehtab Bagh from where you will have the opportunity to watch the Taj Mahal during sunset.  Overnight at Agra.

 

Day 03 |  Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur [By Road in 5 hours]

After breakfast visit the Taj Mahal is everything that has been said about it and more. Later visit the Agra fort. Post lunch we drive to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri. The magnificent fortified ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri was built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 as his capital and abandoned 15 years later, allegedly due to a severe scarcity of water. After sightseeing drive towards Jaipur. Overnight at Jaipur.

 

Day 04 | Jaipur

After early breakfast, visit the ancient Rajput capital of Amber (Amber Fort). Afternoon, proceed for a half-day tour of the city visiting the Maharaja’s City Palace and the Jantar Mantar Observatory. Photo stop at Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds). Overnight stay at Jaipur.

 

Day 05 | Jaipur – Udaipur [By Road in 7 hours]

After Breakfast & check out from the hotel. Depart for Udaipur. Arrive at Udaipur and transfer to the hotel. Udaipur, 'the city of lakes' is admired for its fairy-tale palaces, lakes, temples, and gardens among many more. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Udaipur.

 

Day 06 | Udaipur

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning city sightseeing tour. The places of interest include City Palace which has several carved balconies, arches, and decorated pillars, Zenana Mahal, Fateh Prakash, Durbar Hall, and Shambhu Niwas. Also visit Jagdish temple, Sahelion-ki-Bari (queen's resort for the friends). Later visit the colorful market of Udaipur. Evening Motor cruise on the placid waters of Lake Pichola. Overnight at Udaipur.

 

Day 07 | Udaipur – Jodhpur [By Road in 5 hours]

Today drive to Jodhpur. Arrive and check into a hotel. Go for an exploratory tour of Jodhpur and see the wonderful blue city monuments like Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, etc. Overnight at Jodhpur.

Day 08 | Jodhpur – Jaisalmer [By Road in 5 hours]

Depart for Jaisalmer. Arrive at Jaisalmer and transfer to the hotel. Jaisalmer, 'the golden city is admired for its amazing fort, temples, and sand dunes. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Jaisalmer.

Day 09 | Jaisalmer

Sightseeing tour of various attractions of the town covering the fort with its temples & palaces, the Havelis, the amazing maze of lanes and bylanes, Gadsisar tank, Bada Bagh, and Vyas Chhattries. ( 80 meters above plains ) & Jain Temples within the Fort, built in the 12th to 15th centuries are very worth watching.  Jaisalmer Fort: the golden fortress constructed by the renowned Rajput ruler Jaisal in 1156, is located in the majestic Trikuta hills. Afterward, visit Patwon Ki Haveli and Nath Ji Mal Ki Haveli. Post lunch drive to Sand Dunes. By the late evening come back to Jaisalmer hotel. Stay overnight at Jaisalmer.

Day 10 | Jaisalmer – Bikaner [By road in 5 hours]

After breakfast, check out from the hotel then drive to the imposing walled city of Bikaner:  Visit the Junagarh Fort: The famous fort of Junagarh was constructed by Raja Rai Singh in 1593. Also, visit the camel breeding farm. Overnight stay at hotel in Bikaner.

Day 11 | Bikaner - Mandawa [By road in 5 hours]

Today drive to Mandawa. Arrive at Mandawa and visit the painted Havelis. Overnight stay at a hotel in Mandawa.

 

Day 12  | Mandawa – Delhi [By road in 6 hours]

Today we drive back to Delhi. Evening free at leisure or you may do the city sightseeing. Stay overnight.

 

Day 13 | Delhi - Departure [By Flight]

According to the flight, timings get transferred to the International airport to board the flight to the onward destination. Flashpacking to Rajasthan tour ends with sweet memories.
